Scholarship
Graduate freshmen and current students will receive various types of scholarships. The types of scholarships and recipients are as follows, and more details on individual scholarships are described in the Recruitment Guidelines for General Graduate Freshmen.

CAU Excellent Human Resources Scholarship | Master’s program entrant as CAU leader or science leader scholarship student for 4 years undergraduate |
Excellent Grades | 2011 Domestic University Evaluation (Central Daily Evaluation Criteria) Full-time freshmen with excellent grades and excellent academic performance from the undergraduate department of Chung-Ang University |
Life Welfare Scholarship | Persons with household difficulties and academic excellence |
Direct Scholarship | A person who is a faculty member or employee of Chung-Ang University, a corporate employee, a retirement age or an honorary retiree, a direct child or spouse of a person who has worked (regular) for at least 15 years and has retired on duty or public notice, and whose grades in the previous semester are 3.0/4.5 or higher |
Affiliated Institutions Scholarship | A person with a grade of 3.0/4.5 or higher in the previous semester only for the employee himself/herself, spouse, and immediate children who have been working under Chung-Ang University for more than five years |
Total Student Council Scholarship | A person who serves as an executive of the graduate school student council |
Welfare Scholarship | Proceeds from rent on campus are paid to persons with difficulty in households and excellent academic performance (approximately 20 persons per year) |
Research Performance Support Scholarship | Support for publication of papers in academic journals above a certain standard while attending school |
Scholarship for Industry-Academic Cooperation Group | Support for implementing teacher research projects |
Scholarship for Academic and Master’s-related Courses | Subject to successful students in academic and master’s-related courses |
Alumni Scholarship | Person with excellent academic performance and department recommendation |
Fellowship Scholarship | Payment to educational assistants and research assistants |
Among them, scholarships with a high benefit rate for freshmen and students in the Department of Economics are the assistant scholarship and the Anguk Eo Junseon scholarship. First of all, new students and students can be in charge of the following educational and research assistants according to their requirements and duties.

Research assistant A | It shall be selected from among new students who have a full-time master’s and doctoral degree program in graduate school, and shall assist in education and research by professors |
Research assistant B | Assistance to the research institute affiliated with the Department of Economics as a graduate student of master’s and doctoral degrees |
MF Research Assistant | Professor’s research assistance as a graduate student in graduate school’s master’s and doctoral courses |
If you are in charge of educational assistants and research assistants, you receive a small scholarship. Regardless of the division, scholarships are provided to educational assistants and research assistants B within the budget every year. Research assistants are provided with scholarships based on tuition fees for each division (excluding admission fees). MF research assistants are provided with scholarships among the industry-academic cooperation group fund and the professor’s individual research funds.
On the other hand, the Anguk Eo Jun-seon Scholarship is an externally funded scholarship. This scholarship system is run by the fund established by the president of Anguk Pharmaceutical Eo Jun-sun and aims to support students with excellent academic performance and difficulty in financing tuition. Currently, one person is selected every semester and 3 million won is paid.
