The School of Economics at Chung-Ang University and the Innovation Growth Research Center of the Institute of Economic Research held a special seminar featuring Professor Ha-Joon Chang (SOAS University of London) on April 30 in Room 505, Building 310 at Chung-Ang University.

The seminar was held under the theme “Geopolitical Changes and the New Global Economic Order,” and brought together students and faculty members of the School of Economics for in-depth discussions on changes in the global economic order and the international economic environment.

During the seminar, Professor Chang explained how recent geopolitical changes are affecting the global economy and discussed the formation of a new international economic order. He also presented various perspectives on the importance of industrial policy and economic cooperation among nations. Following the lecture, a Q&A session was held, during which participants exchanged views on current global economic issues and future economic policy directions.

The seminar provided a meaningful opportunity to deepen understanding of the rapidly changing global economic environment and to gain insight into international economic issues, drawing strong interest and enthusiastic responses from participants.
