Approval from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology was granted for the integration of Chung-Ang University’s main and satellite campuses. As part of this integration, the Department of Economics under the College of Business and Economics at the Anseong Campus was relocated to the Seoul Campus and merged into a single department. This resulted in the current (as of 2018) Department of Economics under the College of Business and Economics. The revised academic structure has been applied to all students admitted since the 2012 academic year.
